MS OpenJKD 17 as runtime environment
I’ve recently switched over from MS OpenJDK 11 to MS OpenJDK 17 as runtime environment for my eclair node. As a result, my CPU load dropped drastically.
Could you see any downside by using OpenJDK 17 over 11?
Did anybody experience similar results?
I do some heavy multithreaded rebalancing balancing from my plugin.
But measurements pointed to the pathfinding algo in eclair as the CPU bottleneck.
I’ve applied @rorp s PR #2651 to my node too.
So that is the only main difference from my eclair to a vanilla 0.9.0 éclair.
But even with that I could not really get much more load out of my node.
But now with switching the OpenJDK the CPU problem just kinda vanished.
