There are some features, which are big enough to span multiple issues, which will be displayed here as a group.

Multiple locations

Since many offices consist of multiple floors or even different locations, it should be possible to create location with their dedicated floor plan.

Groups

To visualize teams, or as we call it at AOE "circles", it should be possible to define groups. To accommodate for different use cases, there are two different variants for grouping:

Map groups (area)

Draw an area in a specific location (map), which is assign a name (and maybe other properties).
Use cases: team areas, event spaces, children area, ...

Marker groups

Markers inherently belonging to a group by their attributes, like

• all markers with attribute team and value Space invaders
• all markers with attribute post and value Developer
• all markers with attribute contents and value Club-Mate

Planned in far future

• Dynamic marker types: Marker types, their names, icons and attributes can be defined and new marker types can be created
  • CSV attribute: Attribute may contain multiple entries by using comma-separated values
• Assign roles to markers: Show some roles in map, like "first-aid workers" or "fire protection representative"
• Markdown support for text attributes: Markers or groups may contain text attributes (e.g. description ), which support Markdown rendering
• Marker Directory: List all markers or other entities as searchable/filterable list
