Updates

The overlay will now automatically type /who for you in chat when the game starts. This will show you all players in the game, and give you some time at the start of the game to judge your opponents.

NOTE: AutoWho works by tapping your chat hotkey and then typing /who and hitting enter. The overlay will still type /who even if you have another window open!

You can configure how long after the game starts you want the overlay to wait before typing /who, and set a custom chat hotkey if you have one.

Autowho can be disabled if you do not want it.

v1.8.0 - Lobby name obfuscation

Context

On the 28th of August the Hypixel team released an update to Bedwars that hides all player name in the pre-game lobby.
This means that you are no longer able to see who you will be playing against to potentially dodge or snipe.
Once the game starts, however, usernames are revealed, and you can use /who to get a list of all players in the game.

Updates

The overlay has been updated to work much better with this new update.

Notable Changes

• Obfuscated names in the queue are not show in the overlay (afSDiqls has joined)
• You can type /who once the game starts without having to manually close the overlay after
• Players who chat in the pre-game lobby are automatically added to the overlay.

Other Changes

• Always show your party in the pre-game lobby. The overlay cannot know that they are there, but shows them so you can see their stats.
• Added a setting to control how fast the overlay automatically hides after the game starts. This defaults to 8 seconds whereas it was 5 seconds before this update. This is to allow more time to type /who and study the overlay when the game has started. Holding down tab still shows the overlay.

Bugfixes

• Fixed a bug where the overlay could attach to the wrong minecraft version after switching between versions

  • This should make the overlay more stable in the short and long term
  • New users are no longer required to get an AntiSniper API key to use the overlay
• Better logfile autoselection
  • The active logfile will be selected, regardless if it was the one you used last or not. This should improve your experience if you frequently switch versions.
• Fix parsing chat lines with extra color
  • Some mods add extra color formatting to the chat (typically around usernames etc.). This is now supported by the overlay.
• Better handling of errors from Mojang
  • Improved retry-logic should lead to fewer players with "error" stats

Hypixel are removing all old API keys and are requiring all applications to use a dedicated backend. This update switches from using Hypixel directly to using a proxy generously hosted by AntiSniper, using the prism Hypixel API key.

Due to this all users are required to join the AntiSniper discord and get an AntiSniper API key. Instructions are provided when you start the overlay.

• Select which stats are shown (fkdr, winstreak, stars, bed, finals, kdr, wlr, ...)

• The overlay will connect to discord and display your session stats on your profile
• This can be configured/disabled in the settings

v1.3.0 - Launcher Support

Updates:

1. Added support for more launchers. The overlay now supports vanilla, forge, lunar, badlion, labymod, feather, batmod and pvplounge, and possibly more.
2. Added an option to automatically denick your nicked teammates under certain criteria
3. Added an option to hide dead players (final killed or disconnected)
4. Stricter ratelimiting - Hypixel have restricted new API keys to only 60 requests per minute. If you are re-queueing a lot you may see a warning at the top of the overlay saying that it is slowing down to abide by this limit.
5. Improved queue detection - the overlay should be less confused about whether you are in queue or in a game
6. Tweaked hide/show logic for the overlay. To show the overlay at any time type /who. To hide the overlay at any time click the minimize (-) button.
7. Updated to v2 of the AntiSniper API
