Website Layout and Organization (v1)

Overview

As an initial layout for launch, the plan will be for the website to be one principal home page with all the content "stacked", with an secondary page for photo galleries.

The Stripe website is a good example of the single column layout we have in mind.

Theme

We will need to establish a theme for the website, to include things like

1. Colors (primary, secondary, accent, etc)
2. Typography (font family)
3. Logos graphics
4. For web and social, YouTube

Currently we have a purple theme but that is not set in stone.

The home page will be stacked in this order from the stop:

Gallery

A few galleries of images that could a good exercise for Greenwood, if to manage them locally in the repo, or from a service like Cloudinary. Gallery ideas include

Thinking about how we pull in data at build / runtime, it looks like these will be our main considerations:

Content	Source	Notes
Events	Hybrid	Would be good to build the page for the month, and then fetch more data upon forward / backward navigation of the months.
Feed	Realtime	This will be updated dynamically in FB as posts are published.
Spotify	Realtime	This can updated dynamically in Spotify as songs are added.
YouTube	Realtime	This can updated dynamically in YouTube as videos are added.
Image Gallery	Realtime	This can updated dynamically in TBD as images are uploaded / galleries are made.

Questions:

• For events, what happens from month to month? Maybe a cron job to build the site at least once a month? But what if data gets added during the month?
