Temperamental build/test workflows for PRs

Push events seem to always pass but the PR step almost always fails for this repository, possibly related to the the test task in gradle

A lot of issue have been unpacked from high memory usage for large projects to image resource utilization e.t.c, ultimately increasing /swap partition has proved to be more successful. Only downside being the increase in swap (effective) reduces the storage space available which also causes temperamental issues.

The highest storage usage is caches from github which we should probably clear after a successful project cache restoration to reclaim unused archive space.
