multiple instances of the "New Window" plugin being able to link to different threads

I was thinking if you could possibly make it so you can have multiple instances of "new window" plugins to translate bits of test in the interface. For example, names and small interface bits with text (visual novels and the likes have this mostly). I figure it can be done if the hook the text box is linked to is controlled by the plugin's settings or right click menu. Alternatively, you could make a plugin that goes before the new window plugin that decides what thread it is linked to (If said plugin is not present it could just run the selected thread as it has already).
