Styles are an option in the BEE2 which allows you to change the appearance of your test chambers to match a certain part of the Portal series. There are currently 9 styles in the BEE2.

Styles

  • Clean - Clean chambers after GLaDOS has finished cleaning the facility.
  • Overgrown - Plant-filled chambers like at the beginning of Portal 2, before GLaDOS was reawakened.
  • BTS - Behind-the-scenes levels outside the testing tracks.
  • Portal 1 - Portal 1 style. Looks like the first game.

Old Aperture Styles

  • 1950s - Aperture from the 1950s, like in the chapter The Fall in Portal 2.
  • 1960s - Aperture from the 1960s. This time period doesn't appear in Portal 2.
  • 1970s - Aperture from the 1970s, like in the chapter The Reunion in Portal 2.
  • 1980s - Aperture from the 1980s, like in the end of the chapter The Reunion in Portal 2

Upcoming Styles

In Development

  • Refurbished - 1950s tests which have been upgraded by GLaDOS, like in Co-op Course 5.
  • Art Therapy - Unfinished test chambers, like in the Co-op bonus course of the same name.

Not In Development

  • BTS Portal 1 - Behind-the-scenes Portal 1 levels.
  • Reconstructing - Test chambers after GLaDOS has been awakened, but not fully cleaned up the facility.
  • 1950s BTS - Behind-the-scenes 1950s levels.
  • Wheatley (style) - Test chambers Wheatley built while in control of the facility

  • Overgrown Art Therapy (#623) - Overgrown Art Therapy levels. This probably won't be implemented.
  • Overgrown BTS (#623) - Overgrown BTS levels.
  • TWTM Style (#589) - Future Aperture Science, like in Thinking With Time Machine.
  • 1990s (#577) - Bridges the gap between Old Aperture and Portal 1.
  • Overgrown Portal 1 (#553) - Overgrown Portal 1 levels. Probably won't be implemented.
  • Actual 1950s (#549) - Actual 1950s, like the beginning of Portal Stories: Mel.
  • Incinerator (#227) - This probably won't be implemented, as it is based off only a small part of Portal 2.
