When I add a directional light to my scene, I get a weird moiré pattern on any models that I had imported into blender from
.dae
(Collada/sketchup) files. My workaround for the moment is to just not use lights or shadows, but that makes it look like I'm using some very primitive renderer. I asked on discord and it seems I'm missing mipmaps. I can't figure out why they're missing or how to regenerate them. In Blender, if I touch any settings for the material it just resets absolutely everything about it to the default. In the Blender preview, everything looks normal, it's only when I try to render the scene with rend3 do I get the artefacts. Searching elsewhere online I either get no response or information outdated by 10 years for when Blender actually had explicit settings for this and long before PBR became the de-facto standard. Here's a video of the problem: https://dai.ly/k14YzffPr0kKpOzOxbj
