Poc2 minig ? #37
Comments
Curious to know the answer as well. I know that jminer supports it according to this: https://burstwiki.org/wiki/500k_HF_Checklist But I prefer the Blago miner, so hopefully support will be in place before we reach block 500,000. Also curious to know if Blago will provide a PoC1 to PoC2 converter. |
Use this one. It's forked Blago miner with addition. converter from the same guy, working just fine |
Thanks for the links. I'm running the latest forked Blago AVX2 (1.170901) and it appears to be working fine. I also converted one of my 2TB plots to PoC2, and it too worked fine and the forked Blago miner is happily mining with 1 PoC2 plot and 107 PoC1 plots. So I added 20 more plots to be converted, but am disappointed that the converter is only able to do them one at a time (sequentially). I have 108 plots total (a lot of them 8TB in size.) My total it 418TB. This is going to take forever and a day. The 2TB plot took about 11 hours to convert inline. I'm basically looking at 95 days to convert everything. Hopefully a parallel converter will come out soon that will speed up the process. My server has dual E5-2680 V4 CPUs and 64 GB of RAM, so I have the resources to do a lot of plots in parallel. At any rate, I'm glad the process seems to be working, although it is very slow. |
uh, that will take "a while ", but just saw, Johnny is preparing v1.9, which will support parallel. or maybe you can try to open more instances of converter, for every hdd you open converter. |
Any support for Poc2 plots?
