Short story is, I've decided to go thru all the whdload.lha game packs out there (latest versions) ~ this will take time ;)
I came across this title ... it's a very dated slave, and it does work fine (probably why it never got updated).
What I noticed, was when the title starts with credits and music, the credits are scrolling upwards, however in concert with the music the scrolling stops on certain replay notes, and then keeps going...ie; it's like certain notes/sample replay of the music, interrupts the vertical scrolling routine, pausing it momentarily.
As a cross-check, I grabbed the 1st disk-image from here (it's a 5 disk set but you only need disc 1 for this comparo), and used the default builtins to boot it (GUI->Quickstart or ./amiberry filename.adf)...
...starting the title from the .adf disk-image, I see that the music replay does not interfere with the vertical text scrolling at all, unlike the whdload.lha game pack.
I imagine it's something to do with the .slave, however, being unsure I thought I'd pose the question (in case I come across this scenario against with other titles =).... what is the cause of this, does anyone know?
TIA
