Summary

Cve-Services only validates records when they are created/updated before storing them in the database. However, if an existing record is noncompliant with the 5.0 schema and already in the database, and a user retrieves this record with a GET request, the user is not informed that the record is invalid. Records are not validated when retrieved from the database.

Definition of Done

  • Determine if Cve-Services should validate records retrieved from the database
  • Determine if/how to inform users that a record is invalid in a GET request
