Hi everyone, I'm Johan de Lange, I founded CoralCommerce.com and well, as a Christian I've been trying to find ways to use our payment orchestration service for churches, but without much success. It is hard to market to a church unless they are quite large and have need for something like this or we try and sell to someone like Tithely or similar. It's strange as I cannot turn away enough porn and gambling sites who wish to use us, but cannot convince one church to try us.
Anyway, I decided that I would look for projects in Github like yours to see if we could help at a software level instead and co-laiunch aggregated payment services. We don't charge anything upfront and we focus on enabling partner platforms, which is what ChurchCRM could be. Our hosted or headless APIs (RESTful) can be used as preferred and we carry the PCI DSS audit responsibility. We operate around the world, we use locally licensed payment partners, banks and mobile networks as our local partners and we are 100% transparent with fees and costs by including partners in the bank discussions.
If this can help your project by helping it earn revenue from fees for processing payments, perhaps it could help you expand features and support more churches as a result? We charge tiny percentage fees separate from the bank fee usually, but I would be happy to take counsel on what you feel works best. We really just try to recoup our Azure costs per tx and our resource costs so we are able to chat with you on what you would recommend you charge per fee for payments to the participating churches who agree to adopt such a module.
Anyway, I'm babbling. No need to respond if this is not a model you wish to include in the project. This is a completely open offer from me personally. I'm found here if it helps with creditability: LinkedIn.com/in/johandelange. Would be happy to give more details if needed also.
