Novo Nordisk continues to build and invest in in-house digital solutions, and we, in Digital Health Solutions (DHS), are playing an instrumental role in partnering with the business to bring these solutions to life.
Digital Health IT Product Development contributes to the overall success of DHS by providing trusted technology experts that support both the digital products and colleagues with deep technical expertise, development efforts, and guidance across the technology stack that makes up the digital products within Digital Health.
You will join an experienced and passionate cross-functional scrum team (Product Owner, Product Designer, Tech Lead, Front-, Back-end developers, Scrum Master, and Business Consultants) and support shaping the product roadmap and building new features and solutions.
We expect you have the necessary knowledge and experience to develop and maintain the foundational frameworks that underpin Digital Health IT's mobile offerings.
In addition, you are to:
Collaborate closely with UX/UI colleagues to create applications that excite and engage the end-users.
Iterate over ambiguous/undefined requirements with colleagues until they are sufficiently understood and defined to be worked onAdvocate for agile ways of working in and across the company
Qualifications
As an ideal candidate you hold a Master's Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant IT field, and you tick most of the following boxes:
Several years of experience in iOS software engineering and native iOS applications
You possess a solid understanding of the iOS SDK, Swift, concurrency using async/await, CoreData, and iOS application architecture
Knowledge of iOS and Swift development best practices
Understand Apple’s Developer Program Policies, Bluetooth or/and NFC technologies
Furthermore, you are comfortable following a DevOps methodology and a Development Process that leverages pull requests, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous deployment. Along this, you have a preference for code that is legible and descriptive over code that tries to be clever.
About the department
Digital Health Solutions (DHS) is a part of Digital, Data & IT ( DD& & IT ) and collaborates closely with Digital Health to develop, deliver, and maintain end-to-end innovative digital products to patients globally living with diabetes and other chronic diseases. DHS is responsible for the IT part of developing and maintaining Digital Health products. These front-end solutions are directly used by patients and Healthcare Professionals, as well as the back-end services and systems that supports them.
