Do you want to play an essential part in the future of digital transformation and innovation in Novo Nordisk A/S? Are you a software engineer focusing on iOS platforms?

If so, then join us and apply today!

What’s in it for you?
Novo Nordisk continues to build and invest in in-house digital solutions, and we, in Digital Health Solutions (DHS), are playing an instrumental role in partnering with the business to bring these solutions to life.

Digital Health IT Product Development contributes to the overall success of DHS by providing trusted technology experts that support both the digital products and colleagues with deep technical expertise, development efforts, and guidance across the technology stack that makes up the digital products within Digital Health.

You will join an experienced and passionate cross-functional scrum team (Product Owner, Product Designer, Tech Lead, Front-, Back-end developers, Scrum Master, and Business Consultants) and support shaping the product roadmap and building new features and solutions.

We are especially looking for a colleague who:

  • Develops and maintains the foundational frameworks that underpin Digital Health IT's mobile offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI colleagues to create applications that excite and engage the end-users. Iterate over ambiguous/undefined requirements with colleagues until they are sufficiently understood and defined to be worked on Advocate for agile ways of working in and across the company

We are dreaming of…
For you to be successful in this role, we believe that a desire to delve into iOS platforms is essential. You’ll be iterating on and shipping native iOS applications alongside more Senior and experienced colleagues.

In addition, you:

  • Will have the opportunity to develop a solid understanding of the iOS SDK, Swift, concurrency using async/await, CoreData, and app architecture
  • Internalize iOS and Swift development best practices and build a familiarity with Apple’s Developer Program Policies.
  • You’ll also acquire a solid understanding of Bluetooth or/and NFC technologies

You’ll be joining teams that follow DevOps methodologies and a Development Process that leverages pull requests, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous deployment – familiarity with this is an asset. Having a preference for writing legible code over code that tries to be clever will be a requirement.

The team waiting for you
Digital Health Solutions (DHS) is a part of Digital, Data & IT (DD & IT ) and collaborates closely with Digital Health to develop, deliver, and maintain end-to-end innovative digital products to patients globally living with diabetes and other chronic diseases. DHS is responsible for the IT part of developing and maintaining Digital Health products. These front-end solutions are directly used by patients and Healthcare Professionals, as well as the back-end services and systems that supports them.

We offer a strong knowledge-sharing culture, modern working environment with flexible working conditions (remote/on-site), free flow of coffee and tea, fruit, canteens serving world cuisine, take-out dinner options, access to internal fitness centers at our sites, bike repair at work, electric car charge stations, health insurance, social clubs, team outings and so much more!
