Bug description

(Add-on description from the Cookie Clicker Wiki)
Fortune Cookie is an add-on which shows the outcomes of all of the Grimoire spells. [...] In the options menu, there is a slider which lets the player set how many spells they want to predict, going up to 100 spells to be predicted.

Attempting to load Fortune Cookie whether before or after Cookie Monster causes the game to completely freeze, pausing all animations and causing all openable menus to show blanks, fixable only by reloading the game without Fortune Cookie loaded.

To reproduce

  1. Load Cookie Clicker with Cookie Monster enabled / loaded in.
  2. Attempt to load Fortune Cookie

Okay, so I've found a workaround. The problem seems to be a loading issue that happens when Cookie Monster is loaded too soon after all the supposedly incompatible add-ons. Loading all the add-ons first, waiting about 5s, and then manually loading Cookie Monster seems to resolve this issue UNLESS Frozen Cookie's autoclicker functions are toggled on when trying to load Cookie Monster which causes the game to completely freeze. If, however, the autoclicker options are toggled off first, after Cookie Monster is subsequently loaded the options can then be toggled back on with apparently no issues.

Tested in the Firefox browser with:

  • CookiStocker v2.2
  • cookie-garden-helper
  • FortuneCookie
  • frozen_cookies

That said, though the tooltips and options that were toggled on in Cookie Monster stay enabled during gameplay the entire Cookie Monster menu and status information page disappear from the options and status menus after some time when using the other add-ons.
