im putting togather a commercial pack
what i like to do is set this up with channels that do show and movies by decade
right now im working on 80's 90's 2000's
the folder layout is
Commercials
10's 20's 30's 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's 2000's 2010's 2020's
inside each one is
apple (apple brand ad's)
food (ads for food and drink)
funny (any thing goofy not in main categories )
game_systems (nintendo sega playstation xbox other )
games (game trailers, accessories and services)
microsoft (microsoft brand ad's)
movie_trailers (trailer from time period)
parody_ad's (spoofs like snl and youtube spoofs)
services (water tv power internet,phone, etc)
stores (toy r us video rental fedex etc)

inside each folder im useing short names
folder - name of video _ additional videos
stores - fedex_01
apple imamac_02
microsoft - win98_01
microsoft - winxp_01
just postingto see if any would be interested

also would love support from dev to make it easyer like
channel 1 is 90's theme so would pull from 90's Commercials
channel 2 is 2000's heme so would pull from 2000's Commercials
i can share if you like right now is small but may have to look in to new ways when it grows
anyone can help just get in touch.

i also would like to have a way to skip playing then same kind of commercial twice.
if apple_01 plays then apple_02 or anything with apple_#### wouldnt play

if we make a standard of file name this could work
name of file in short name form then _ then number of file
short name this would be a brand of commercial
_ would be a spacer for number
number would be which number of file
brand_01
apple_######
apple_01
microsoft_#######
microsoft_04
snl_#####
snl_36
kiacar_#####
kiacar_835

the name can be anything but in short name form
a file named xbox 360.mp4 would be come xbox360_01.mp4
the brand would allow to map out what the file would be this could be anything but doing brand names it make it easyer to find what you want, this is so you you dont play two apple commercial back to back. the number is just to differentiate between files
the _ would be just to know when theres a brake from shortname

so if my setup is only this three

apple_01
apple_02
microsoft_01
microsoft_02

then play order would be

(start)
apple_01
microsoft_01
apple_02
microsoft_02
(loopback) apple_01
microsoft_02
apple_02
microsoft_01

I am actually working on features to make adding channel-wide commercial breaks much easier without having to modify each program manually, and I've been having fun looking for commercials. You have some golden ones here.
