Welcome to the Roadmap wiki!
The Digital Curation Centre and California Digital Library have developed and delivered tools for Data Management Planning for several years. We are the two main groups worldwide who have been monitoring and responding to changes regarding DMPs in such detail. We have shared experiences and advised one another over the years, but now plan to take our partnership further by converging on a single codebase to co-develop and maintain an open source platform for Data Management Planning. By working as one team we will be able to avoid duplication of effort and move DMPs beyond a compliance exercise to support better research practices, especially as research becomes more and more data intensive.
We are creating a system. That system is separate from the services any one of our groups would build on top of it. Shared goal: go live with a combined ROADMAP platform by Q1 2017.
