etcd Distributed reliable key-value store for the most critical data of a distributed system
The image is available on cgr.dev:
docker pull cgr.dev/chainguard/etcd
The default listening ports in etcd are 2379 and 2380. To run a container listening on these ports, try:
docker run -p 2379:2379 -p 2380:2380 --rm cgr.dev/chainguard/etcd

The default data directory for this image is /var/lib/etcd, and that directory is write-able by the etcd user.
If you change the user, UID, or data directory, you'll need to ensure the user running the etcd process has permissions to that directory.
