From April 21 meeting:

hands-on example of offloading a loop, to get everyone excited. Needs to be prepared so people can compile for CPUs and GPUs and compare performance etc
could be an MPI code that can be compiled for CPUs with MPI or GPUs with OpenMP
this could be the final version of a code that we gradually improve throughout the workshop

https://enccs.github.io/openmp-gpu/miniapp/ now has the mini-app

If we still want some intro material to CPU OpenMP then we can do that also
