As far as I can tell the startup_regtest.sh file misses a method to stop the lnd nodes that have been spawned for development.

Also, the scripts need some general love as there is a lot of hard coded stuff in there and a lot of organic grow that might be reconsidered. Maybe we would do better with a small e.g python or go cli for development purposes?
