Zazzles, and the client, still target .NET 4.0. While this version is deprecated, mono builds of higher frameworks are prone to the following issues:

  • Inability to inject a certificate into the mono keystore
  • OSX SIP (rootless mode) build failures

In addition, the client's shutdown GUI relies on a very deprecated framework to style Windows Forms. Projects such as AvaloniaUI should be considered instead.
