I've noticed that Auto is currently placed at the top of our player quality menu, and it doesn't seem to serve a significant purpose in its present position. Additionally, it doesn't offer any better quality than the highest available option. Personally, I believe it would make more sense to relocate Auto to the bottom of the list. For those of you who might be unfamiliar, Auto has the potential to select a quality as low as 144p, which can result in a less-than-optimal viewing experience. Taking YouTube as an example, they have positioned Auto at the bottom of their quality options for this reason. By relocating Auto to the bottom of the player quality menu, we can ensure that the highest quality options are prioritized for our viewing pleasure. This would offer a more intuitive experience to users and eliminate any confusion or frustration when accidentally selecting Auto. |
Is your feature request related to a usage problem (not a bug)? Please describe.
Its more logical to me to move Auto to the bottom because in the state it is now it does not do anything and it isnt better then the highest quality available. Auto can be as bad as 144p thats why its listed in the bottom at YT.
