Guidelines

  • I have encountered this bug in the latest release of FreeTube.
  • I have searched the issue tracker for a bug report that matches the one I want to file, without success.

Describe the bug

1: Open a Video, click the Picture-in-Picture button
2: Let that Picture-in-Picture video play
3: navigate to another video on the main window.
4: let the main window video play
5: Click pause on the Picture-in-Picture window - watch as the main window video pauses, and the Picture-in-Picture video continues to play.

This was not an issue until the latest version.

Expected Behavior

The Picture-in-Picture video should not pause a different main-window video, and should be able to pause itself.
It should not become an unpausible video.
