Guidelines

  • I have encountered this bug in the latest release of FreeTube.
  • I have encountered this bug in the official downloads of FreeTube.

  • I have searched the documentation for information that matches the description of the bug I want to file, without success.
  • This issue contains only one bug.

Describe the bug

  1. Open any video
  2. Press i or click Picture in Picture (Video 1)
  3. Press Back button
  4. Press Forward button
  5. Click Play
  6. Click i or click Picture in Picture
  7. Old video still continue to play, and now you be hearing 2 audio.

Expected Behavior

Video 1 should stop playing and get overwritten by Video 2. Picture in Picture is either disable or can be re-open to "stop" video.

So now you have to wait for Video 1 to finish playing. Or close Freetube.
