Render stops at 32/48 samples (blender 3.5) #690

  1. System setup (AMD radeon T5 GPU, Windows 10, Lenovo Ideacentre)
  2. The expected behavor is that blender will render 32 samples immediately and then not render anymore

Issue

Instead of the full 48 samples being generated the render engine stops at 32, I am using standard instead of filmic, noise threshold is 1, and the number of samples I am using is 48.
here is a blender file that is set up to reproduce the results.

Threshold always cut number of samples per-pixel until reached threshold value. Thats why it just cut off samples count to 32 samples and stoped render. Decrease it between 0.01-0.1
