Standard
Goals Helps to define career paths. Sets goals that are inline with the reports' career path and interests.
Happiness Works to keep direct reports happy.
Mentoring Consistently helps to level up the skills of everyone else on the team. Consistently provides constructive critical feedback that is directed at the work and not the individual. Consistently will "teach people to fish" rather than doing it themselves.
Invested Consistently is invested in the happiness, well being, and best interests of direct reports.
Feedback and Communication Maintains consistent and frequent communication. Provides feedback (both direct and indirect) early and often to allow for course correction.
Expectations Sets clear expectations and provides feedback on whether or not those expectations are being met.
1 on 1s Holds consistent 1 on 1s to discuss issues, solve problems, provide feedback, etc.
Answering Questions Answers any questions and addresses issues in a timely manner.
Advocate Communicates and fights on the behalf of direct reports on important issues facing the team.
Filter Filters direct reports from unnecessary distractions and noise.
