After having tested a few organs, I have found one that meets my needs: the Freisach organ (https://piotrgrabowski.pl/friesach/). It is free, sounds good to my ears and its range corresponds to my 61 key manuals. I also used the Burea organ, but after a while I found too many weird sounding pipes here and there, due probably to a far from perfect condition of the instrument at the time of recording. I find it quite distracting if a key sounds different from its neighbors. Plus it had 56 key manuals only.
However, I need to shrink the Freisach organ a little bit, because I'm using a Rapsberry Pi with 4 Gb of RAM. So I have removed a few stops. I have also "blended" the solo and the swell because I only have two manuals (the II/III coupling is engaged all the time).
The attached image shows the stops I have removed (they are disengaged). What do you think?
I precise that I am a pianist willing to learn organ, and I mainly intend to play classical music such as Bach, Haendel, etc.
