Could you please advise is there a way to overcome this ? I guess other editors allows to fix this issue by providing appropriate ASMAOPT value MACHINE or OPTABLE ?

Hi there, thank you for reporting this. It looks like this may be a problem with all vector instructions that can accept a format. We will investigate and determine a fix.

As a temporary workaround, you can disable all problems for the HLASM editor by toggling the setting zopeneditor.hlasm.disableProblems.
