In the $find operation the Appointment resource is used in the response. We are currently working on a national IG for appointment scheduling in Austria and thus are curious what the reasons for using Appointment instead of the Slot resource are.
Are there any particular advantages which lead to this decision?
Also we noticed that in the introduction the usage of the Slot resource is mentioned. To us it was not completely clear if the $find operation is meant to replace the Slot-based availability check described in R4 Appointment ("Checking Availability on the Schedule (optional) ") or if it is just meant as an additional way.
