V2.0.0
CHANGES:
- The chances of two Pokémon making an Egg every certain amount of steps have been increased (Gen 3 onwards).
FIXES:
- If the 1st Pokémon in the DayCare was Genderless but the 2nd one was a Ditto, breeding was impossible.
V1.1.1
FIXES:
- Fixed error where some Trainers had Shiny Pokémon by mistake.
VERSION 1.1
NEW:
- NEW TYPE: FAIRY-TYPE! All Pokémon and moves that are Fairy-type from Gen 6 onwards were changed to also have it in this game.
- ITEM:
-- FairyFeather. Boosts Fairy-type moves by 20%
* LOCATION: Sometimes Picknicker Tiffany calls you and hands it over.
-- Sitrus Berry. Replaces Gold Berry, healing 25% MAX HP instead of 30HP.
-- PP MAX. Maximizes PPs of a single move.
-- "X SP. DEF" was also added. Boosts Special Defense by 2x.
CHANGES:
- Type matchups: GHOST- and DARK-type moves now deal neutral damage to Steel-type Pokémon instead of 1/2 damage.
- TMs can be used indefinitely, just like in Gen 5!
- The teams of Gym Leaders, Elite Four and Champion have been slightly adjusted to resemble their Gen 4 teams.
- Moves:
* Leech Life now has 80 Power.
* Crunch reduces Physical Defense instead of Sp. Def. (Gen 4 onwards).
* Hidden Power now always has 70 Power, instead of changing depending on your DVs.
* Growth acts like in Gen 5, also boosting your Physical Attack and doubling your boost if there's Harsh Sunlight.
* Electric-type Pokémon cannot be paralyzed anymore.
* Powder/Spore-based moves no longer affect Grass-type Pokémon.
* Self-Destruct and Explosion no longer halve Defense while calculating total damage (seriously, why was this a thing?)
- Movesets:
* Chikorita, Cyndaquil & Totodile evolutionary family, along with other Pokémon's movesets, have been updated to resemble their Gen 7-8 counterparts.
* Pikachu and Piloswine now learn Dig, like in Gen 8.
* Typhlosion now learns Solar Beam.
* A few Pokémon can learn new TMs/HMs, based on recent gens.
- Status conditions:
-- Thaw chance has been increased from 10% to 20% (Gen 3)
-- Paralysis' speed reduction changed from 75% to 50% (Gen 7).
- The chances of getting a Shiny Pokémon were increased from 1/8192 to 3/8192 (oh baby, a triple!).
For a Pokémon to be Shiny, its DVs must be:
-- Attack: 1, 14, 15
-- Defense: 14, 15
-- Speed: 14, 15
-- Special: 14, 15
* NOTE: Thanks to this, getting a Shiny Female Pokémon whose gender ratio is 7M:1F is now possible.
* Because of the Shiny DV requirements' change, the Red Gyarados from Lake of Rage will always have perfect DVs.
- Breeding:
- Nidorina and Nidoqueen can finally breed! Both Pokémon now have the Monster and Field egg groups.
-- The Egg can be either Nidoran♀ or Nidoran♂.
-- Nidoran♂, Nidorino and Nidoking now have a 50% chance of breeding a Nidoran♀ Egg.
- Removed detail where, if both Pokémon had the same Defense DV and their Special DVs were either the same of differed by 8, they couldn't breed.
- Poké Ball's catch rate have been modified:
-- Love Ball: TOTAL REWORK. Now it's more effective if both user and opponent share at least one Egg Group (instead of being of the same species) and have opposite genders.
-- Catch rate reduced from 8x to 4x.
-- Catch rate x1 if one or both Pokémon are genderless, or if one of them is Ditto.
-- Fast Ball: Now it works like in Gen 4 onwards.
-- Lure Ball: Catch rate buffed from 3x to 5x (Gen 7).
-- Heavy Ball: Slight buff. Catch rate modifiers adjusted to be more similar to Gen 7:
* Less than 51.2kg: -20
* 51.2kg - 102.4kg: +0
* 102.4kg - 204.8kg: +20
* More than 204.8kg: +30
- TMs' prices of both Goldenrod and Celadon Game Corners have been slightly reduced.
- The prices of the Move Tutor located outside of the Goldenrod Game Corner have been reduced from 4000 to 3000.
-- Now the Move Tutor will be outside everyday instead of only Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Fruit Trees now give 2 berries/apricorns instead of one.
- Friendship system has been slightly improved:
-- Pokémon who evolve through friendship now only need 160 points instead of 220 (Gen 8).
-- If a Pokémon levels up, their friendship will increase more slightly than normal.
-- The Haircut Brothers increase friendship slightly more.
- Items:
-- X Items now boost the corresponding sta by two points (2x) instead of one (1.5x).
-- Boost from type-enhancing items increased from 10% to 20% (Gen 4).
-- "Pink Bow" is now called "Silk Scarf".
-- Increased the chances for a wild Pokémon to have a held item from 25% (23% Item1, 2% Item2) to 55% (50% Item1, 5% Item2).
-- RageCandyBar now works similarly like a Full Heal, healing all status conditions.
- We can now buy a dozen of bottles from the Moomoo Farm located at Route 39.
- Evolution stones, PP Up and PP Max can now be bought in both Goldenrod and Celadon Department Stores.
-- Evolution stones: $3000
-- PP UP: $10000
-- PP Max: $25000
- The prices of more articles were also adjusted to match recent gens (I'm too lazy to make the list, sorry).
- Healing effects and prices of the Super Potion, Hyper Potion, Fresh Water, Soda Pop and Lemonade have been changed (Gen 7).
-- The names of ELIXER, MAX ELIXER and X SPECIAL have been changed to ELIXIR, MAX ELIXIR and X SP. ATK, respectively.
- Names of all the berries were changed to their current names.
-- Leppa Berry now restores 10 PP instead of 5 PP (Gen 3).
FIXES:
- Fixed graphical error where the sprites of BEAUTY, FISHER, MEDIUM, SAGE and SWIMMER♀ didn't show the right colors.
- Fixed critical error where the damage of special attacks wasn't calculated correctly.
VERSION 1.0
MAJOR CHANGES:
- Most of the glitches have been fixed (both for Single and Multiplayer)!
- The GS Ball has been restored! Now you can activate it when you defeat the Elite Four for the 1st time (just like in the 3DS version).
- Now moves are classified in Physical/Special/Status individually, instead of it being determined by the elemental type (just like in Gen 4 onwards).
- You can also run by pressing and holding the B button! It's available from the start of the game.
- A new time has been added: EVENING. With this, the time system has been changed slightly:
-- MORNING: 6:00a.m. - 9:59a.m.
-- DAY: 10:00a.m. - 5:59p.m.
-- EVENING: 6:00p.m. - 7:59p.m.
-- NIGHT: 8:00p.m. - 5:59a.m.
** Maps have been adjusted to show a orange hue at EVENING, simulating the sunset.
** Pokémon that used to only appear at NIGHT can also appear at EVENING. Also, the battle music is the NIGHT version.
** Eevee evolves into Umbreon at EVENING.
** NPC dialogues that varied depending on the time have been adjusted accordingly.
- The old Stat Experience system has been replaced with EVs (Effort Values).
NOTE: The total limit of 510 EVs isn't implemented, which means you can have a Pokémon with 255 EVs in all of its stats.
- The CALCIUM vitamin has been changed so that it only boosts the Special Attack. Because of this, the ZINC vitamin has been introduced; these are the methods to get a ZINC:
-- Goldenrod Department Store (4F)
-- Celadon Department Store (5F)
-- Goldenrod Radio Tower (exchange for 5 Blue Points)
- The rematch system has been improved: Now trainer's teams will be upgraded as we progress through our adventure, instead of also taking into account how many times we've fought them.
-- They also give us their phone number automatically, instead of having to speak to them to trigger the event.
- Our bag as a new pocket: BERRY POCKET. All the berries and apricorns will automatically be stored here.
-- Maximum ITEM POCKET capacity has been expanded from 20 to 50.
- A certain trainer has new tricks under their sleeves...
MINOR CHANGES:
- Our PokéGear contact list has been expanded from 10 to 35.
- Some Pokémon's base stats were adjusted to match their Gen 8 version.
- Some moves were adjusted to match their Gen 8 behavior.
- Now your battling Pokémon get experience when you catch wild Pokémon (like it happens in Gen 5).
- Hatched Pokémon start at level 1 instead of 5 (like in Gen 4).
- The Pokédex can alternate between the Normal and the Shiny version of a Pokémon if you press the SELECT button.
- If a Trainer's Pokémon knows "Return" it will always have max power.
- The item "Light Ball" now also boosts Pikachu's ATK instead of only boosting the SP.ATK (like in Gen 4).
- AI has been slightly improved and most of its bugs have been fixed.
- If a Pokémon reaches level 100 it will no longer be counted when sharing the experience among the battling Pokémon.
- Poisoned Pokémon now will survive with 1HP in the Overworld (like in Gen 4).
- If a Repel's effect wears off, the game will prompt a dialogue box asking us whether we want to use another one or not (like in B2/W2 onwards).
AESTHETIC CHANGES:
- Pokémon names are no longer in FULL UPPERCASE.
- Now every Pokémon has a unique party menu icon instead of the generic ones, and in color! Also, the color changes depending on whether the Pokémon is Shiny or not.
-- This also applies to Eggs, being green if they're shiny instead of red.
- There are new weather icons in the Battle GUI! It shows a small indicator in the bottom-left corner which changes depending of the current weather.
- Now every Poké Ball has a unique color and they look slightly more detailed.
- Trainer Card:
-- The badges showcase an improved design, and in color!
-- Fixed detail where the Gym leaders had their heads slightly cut off, so they've been restored.
- Whenever you receive a new TM/HM the dialogue box will also show its name.
- The censored Japanese trainer sprites have been restored (BEAUTY, FISHER, MEDIUM SAGE y SWIMMER (FEMALE). F*ck the unnecessary censorship!
- Overworld sprites now look darker at NIGHT.
- When naming your character, if you choose to leave it blank the game will default to GOLD/CRYSTAL, referencing their Pokémon Adventures manga counterparts.
- Animated overworld tiles no longer stop its animation whenever a dialogue box appears.
AND FINALLY, THE MOST IMPORTANT CHANGE...
- "Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience."
