In the past, when an article was selected its parent groups lit up. This does no longer be the case (or I cannot find the option in the new jabref). So as far as I can tell, there is really no way of seeing which groups an article belongs to.

The group with the labeled numbers, with the green background, are highlighted.
But this function seems to be a bit buggy and does not always update (I did not find out why), restarting JabRef might help and it does not work for all entries, but for some it does.
