Axis breaks are unreadable if data contains distinct strings.

count = 240
long_names = {
    'date': ['row_number_' + str(i) for i in range(count)],
    'value': [123 for i in range(count)]
}
ggplot(long_names) + geom_point(aes(x='date', y='value'))
