I've added a sitemap https://julialang.org/assets/sitemap.xml which I'll feed to google's ping tool: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183668?hl=en

we should re-visit in May to see if this was effective in fixing the issues that @ViralBShah flagged when looking at the google search console
