plotly backend results in blank output in jupyterlab

Details

I installed the jupyter plugin for plotly, plotly.py. Apparently this is needed.

Still, no plot appeared.

I was attracted to the no dependency feature of plotly. Apparently, no dependency means no output.

Well, I tested it from the Julia REPL and it worked. So, I restarted jupyterlab. Apparently, this was needed after installing the above mentioned plugin.
