I guess to refine my question, how are external converters handled in regards to Z2M HA Integration? what determines which sensors are created? How do I indicate the sensors for power, current, and voltage should be created and define which are enabled by default? For now I've created manual MQTT template entity to read the newly exposed power attribute. But this doesn't seem like the right way to handle this. |

Your config looks good to me, the discovery is based on the See https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/guide/usage/debug.html on how to enable debug logging. Also updated the default converter to support power measurements. |

I was able to pair the other 2 and all three are operating flawless. At least I was able to help confirm this issue is fixed. Thank you for taking the time to help. I'll work on submitting a PR to update the device converter file. |

Device: https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/IM6001-OTP05.html#smartthings-im6001-otp05
This device also supports power monitoring, not included in the default converter.
I made a converter like this:
The Z2M dashboard now shows the attributes and the state looks like:
Log looks like:
Now in Home Assistant, I don't see these additional attributes.

Is it expected that the Z2M HA integration (using MQTT discovery), would create the sensors for the power & energy ??
