Students can send work to their teacher for feedback. Submissions can be typed online or uploaded as files. Teachers can grade with percentages, scales, or rubrics. Students can work alone or together.

Step 01 : Log in to your Moodle account: Access your Moodle site and log in with your administrator or teacher credentials.

Step 02 : Access your Course: Navigate to the course where you want to create the assignment.

Step 03 : Turn Editing On: If you're a teacher, you need to turn on the editing mode for the course. You can do this by clicking the "Turn Editing On" button, typically found in the upper-right corner of the course page.

Step 04 : Add an Assignment:Click on the "Add an activity or resource" link. This link is usually located in the section where you want to add the assignment. > Choose Assignment: In the activity chooser, select "Assignment" and click the "Add" button.

Step 05 : Configure Assignment Settings:
Fill in the assignment name and description. Set the due date, if applicable. Configure submission settings, such as file types allowed, maximum file size, and feedback types. Set the grading method and grade scale. Configure availability options and group settings if needed.
