I have been playing around with NaMaster and noticed some behaviour which seems strange to me: depending on whether there is a bandpower defined in the code next to a given bandpower one gets different window functions from NaMaster for the same mask.
I attach a plot where in dashed lines you have the window functions for the case where there is one extra bandpower at low-ell compared to the solid lines. The bandpowers cover the same range of ells for the overlapping bands and have the same mask (here I defined fields with only a mask and no maps just to look at the bandpower window functions). One can see by eye that the window functions for the first low-ell solid lines bin are different to the dashed line.
Is this behaviour expected? I can provide the notebook used to generate the above image.
Best wishes,
Alex
