Custom shortcut keys don't work

First of all, I LOVE this plug-in! I have been hoping for this functionality forever. Bravo!!

The only issue I am having is that custom shortcut keys don't work when the editor is floated. They work fine when it is docked. I can of course work around this, but being left-handed, it is convenient to remap some keyboard shortcuts in the editor.
