Project Phoenix - Containerize your enterprize

Welcome to project Phoenix - a hands on workshop to practice container technology in the enterprise.

Contents and focus

The event is designed to give you an overview and hands on experience with Containers on Azure. Afterwards you should be familiar with:

  1. Defining Application and system architectures for containers.
  2. Defining, configuring up and maintaining runtime environments for containers in Azure.
  3. Configuration options for CI/CD pipeline for containers in Azure.
  4. Unterstaning of Kubernetes objects (Pods, Services, Deployments, Secrets) and their usage for multi container applications.
  5. Logging, scaling and monitoring of container runtimes.

Times, dates and registration

The next iterations of this one-day event are scheduled for: 06. december 2017 in Bad Homburg 11. december 2017 in Berlin 14. december 2017 in München

Events are delivered in small groups, invite only and require a registration by your MSFTE CSA, ATS, PSS or SSP.

Requirements

  • Your own active Azure subscription
  • Basic understanding of Docker container technology
  • Handling of Linux shell and tools
