Ticket shows outdated sound tags #1759
Comments
I added a test sound to illustrate this better:

Update: assuming that the system has not been changed, it appears that the metadata on the ticket page gets updated automatically after a while. I did not measure how long but now the data is up to date. At the same time I found it useful that it did not get updated in one case (ticket 450233), where the user initially attributed 6 sounds, 2 of which are currently deleted. This one case, as well as unrelated spam practices of updating previously harmless descriptions/forum posts with spam, are reasons why it could be useful to track edit history, which is another topic though. |
There was a bug addressed in the PR linked above, this will be updated in our servers soon! Thanks @qubodup ! |
In one moderation, I asked the user to update sound tags. They made some changes and replied. The ticket showed 3 basic tags that were there from the start.
Later they made another change and I noticed that the tags on the ticket page were outdated and did not reflect the new tags on the sound page.
Ideally these tags would be up to date. If they already do, it would be good if it happened instantly.
If impossible, it might be useful to have a notice that these are only the original submission tags or that they might be out of sync.
