I have moderated very few sounds in the past week or so and twice there were uploads of TTS ad text with spam ad links in the descriptions.

Deleting forum spammers is super easy (honestly, might be too easy, I hope they can be restored in the worst case) for moderators but impossible for sound spammers.

  1. Should the sounds be deleted in this case?
I think they should but at the same time they should stay as proof for admin to delete the user. Could you please clarify on https://freesound.org/tickets/moderation/guide what to do?

  2. How do moderators request user deletion?
The contact form or email are the simplest solution. Could you please clarify on https://freesound.org/tickets/moderation/guide what to do?

Here is an example:

Text suggestion as a start:

Spam sound uploads

Sometimes user accounts are used to weaponize the sound itself and the sound description to spread spam ads. When you encounter such sounds, you should [delete/defer] the sound, **do not [delete?] the sound please, so admins can easily check the deletion reason.
Afterwards [write a user note/report the user to the admins (how?)]

Ideally, there would be a toggle-able action on https://freesound.org/people/spammeraccount/ that would just say 'mark for deletion' (per-moderator) in this list:

On the other end, admins would have a queue of users to delete which would show their posts and all tickets so they can instantly see why.
