I'm having troubles installing Demaster

Hi there! Well, first of all, i admire and thank so much the people doing this type of mods and things for the Final Fantasy games to be better. Aside from that, i spent all afternoon trying to get Demaster to work in many different ways (i bought the game today from Steam Argentina). First, the latest version unpacked "main.zzz" and "other.zzz" successfully, but the program doesn't recognize that the files were unpacked. Like, when i opened "ff8_demastered_manager" for the second time it made me unpack again. So i started looking for a solution in qhimm and other sites. One solution was to "downgrade" the version of the game. I did it but same problem. So with that version (downgraded) of the game, i downloaded a older version of Demaster, the 1.2.8a. This version, solved the problem of "the program didnt recognize that the files were already unpacked", but now a new problem showed in the demaster log: "DEMASTER::ApplyUvPatch::The addresses are wrong! We found no ADD byte ptr[esi+8]". So, from Demaster configurations, i unchecked the second box (something with UV patches). This, again, solved the problem but, guess what, now the game started but when i press a key, like say "Enter", it closes and "Unexpected error has ocurred" box show up (or something like that). I tried the last steps with newest update of the game and with a depot; installing and uninstalling (3 times). I would like to make the game look better (especially backgrounds). I feel bad because i could have buyed the 2013 version of it and and not have spent more money with this 2019 version.

Okay, this is weird. I solved it. I reinstalled the game and after installing it i searched for corrupted files (from the game properties from Steam in the local files section). So Steam found corrupted files, and reinstalled them. After that i went to download (again) the last version of Demaster, then unpacked the files, then installed Horizon Pack and Field Model Textures, and it worked (only Horizon did actually, i dont know why Field Model Textures didnt but whatever). (Sidenote, Demaster keeps telling me i didnt unpacked the files).
