Using Innertune in PC

What is the best emulator to use this app on PC?

I was using bluestacks on Windows, but i know there are better alternatives for linux. Bluestacks sometimes stops playing audio and its anoying to reboot evertime.

(Yes i am lazy to transfer all the 1273 songs i have in innertune to yt-music and its easier to use an emulator than to port each song individualy)

Also, is there any plans to port this app to pc or have a way to download and export every song to a normal audio file?

Hi, I understand that, the portability between PC and mobile is important for a lot of users. Is it

• because you are using the computer and don't want to change the songs on the mobile
• because you have headphones/bass plugged into the PC
• other?

I personally won't create a cross platform version of this app, at least for now. I don't have a lot of free time and one project to maintain is a lot.
What I could do is, create a simple python script that would export your playlist (from the innertune backup) to YouTube music's playlist with a similar name.
Another option would be to save everything in a cloud-based solution. This means, it would have to handle connection, and we will need a server, a domain name, etc... It is still a lot of work.
After UI redesign and (main) bug fixes I will try to add YouTube music sync as a way to save. But it will be only the library, not all the database, would it solve some problems for you?

Hi! I use an emulator in innertune because i like to stream music to my friends in discord using screenshare and using emulator is the easier way to do that.

Yes, i would like a way to export the library to a playlist using a script, and i know that porting this app to pc isn't easy (its possible, but i don't think its that necessary)

I just don't to that myself because i don't know how to encode backup files to a simple url list.

I have thounsands of songs in innertune, sharing everyone to get the url and then adding everyone to a playlist in YouTube music is just impossibel.

I don't think using a cloud based would help that much and it has server cost and its harder to mantain.

For me the innertune UI is just perfect, way better than any other music app, so the redesing isn't a priority for me (you should still do it, there should be people that want it to be improved)

If you have time to develop a way to read backup files i would be gratefull ;), nothing that important, i just can't do it on my own because i know nothing about coding in Java and i am still learing.
