Hi,
I am using Tekmaker and Asymptote since more than 10 years, on PCs, MACs and Linux (Fedora).
I have to work with old versions of Asymotote : Asymptote 2.6x, what I achieved until 2 days ago on my PC : W10 + Texmaker 5.1.3. (still works on MAC TexMaker 5.0.4 + asy 2.62, not tested on Linux but guess it works fine)
The Compilation chain is " PdfLaTeX + Aymptote + PdfLaTey+ voir Pdf"
The Asymptote command points to the asy.exe in "C:/Program Files/Asymptote2_61/asy.exe" %.asy
In the folder I am working in, I compile a file say toto.tex, wich should generate 2 asymptote-drawings
Until 2 days ago, the compilation chain generated two .tex files :
toto-1.tex and toto-2.tex
as well as 2 pdf files ( and of course the final one) :
toto-1.pdf and toto-2.pdf ,
each corresponding to the asymptote figure.
and 2 .asy files
toto-1.asy and toto-2.asy
With the same compilation chain (" PdfLaTeX + Aymptote + PdfLaTey+ voir Pdf") I today get the error messages file
toto-1.tex' not found and file
toto-2.tex' not found. In the working folder I only find the two .asy filesWhen I then Compile with only "Asymptote", followed by " PdfLaTeX + Aymptote + PdfLaTey+ voir Pdf", everything works like 2 days ago.
(this excludes access-rights to the working directory, what I first suspected)
Any idea ?
BTW : could you pleas tell me who generates the intermediate .tex files and the .asy files.
Thanks
FG
JM
