texify: there may be an error in --help message

I am using the newest texify in Windows 11 23H2.

If I want to use texify to generate PDF by using XeTeX engine, I can use texify --pdf --engine=xetex. However, in the --help message, it says that

-p, --pdf                            Use pdftex or pdflatex for processing.

It really confuses me, because I am using XeTeX, not pdfTeX. Could anybody explain it for me?
