This will handle the original issue in #212 (the 'core id' problem). When we're attempting to verify the team project on the TFS server, we'll get this 'core id' exception if the endpoint we need isn't present. Somewhere between TFS 2013 RTM and TFS 2013 Update 5 that endpoint was added.
