[Bug]: handling keybindings always accepts the line #432

What went wrong?

When a keybinding is successfully matched and handled, the current line is accepted. In some cases we would like to run some action in the keybinding but preserve the current contents of the line. Should make the keybinding configurable in if the line should be accepted or not.
