Swap Overhaul

  • Replaced the old /swap page with a new BuyAndExchange page.
  • There are now two options - ShapeShift and 0x Instant.
  • ShapeShift and 0x Instant swap now both work on desktop.

Nodes and Networks

  • Updated the token address for RIF.
  • All tokens are now shown while offline.

View Wallet

  • The ViewWallet screen now accepts ENS domains as well as Ethereum and token addresses.

User Experience

  • The navigation dropdown items are now easier to click, and they highlight when hovered over.
  • When a dropdown option under "Send & Receive" is clicked, but the user is not signed in, a warning prompts them to sign in.

Nodes and Networks

User Experience

  • Spaces can no longer be entered in the address field, and pasted addresses are automatically trimmed.
  • Added a notification on the MetaMask wallet decryption page to turn off ad blocker.
  • The DeterministicWalletModal now prefers the passed block explorer rather than defaulting.
  • After selecting a wallet in the Sign or Verify feature, the user is warned prior to leaving the page.
  • There is no longer a running check to determine if MetaMask permission still exists; this was causing high-CPU usage.
  • Removed the Gas Limit field from the Request Payment screen.
  • On the web, at mobile screen sizes, there is no longer a weird outline around wallet options.
  • Swapping between trading pairs on the Swap screen now shows an empty input field instead of 0.
  • Disabled wallet options no longer allow hovering/clicking on their icons.
  • A danger notification is displayed when attempting to add a custom token that shared a name with another token.

Bug fixes:

  • Dropdowns now correctly show their selected value.
  • Removed a stray ) from the Swap page.
  • The exchange rate was flipped around to be accurate.
  • Fixed an issue that popped up during last release's QA process with the LOVE token. The structure of the token returned the total supply as the balance for any address that queries for balanceOf(address).
  • Fixed a translation error in the VerifyMessage component that was producing [object Object].
  • The WalletDecrypt component no longer tries to update state after unmounting.
  • When signed into a wallet and the screen is in mobile mode, the "Change Wallet" button is now clickable/tappable.
  • On the Send Transaction screen, the dropdown initially shows ETH, instead of an empty field.

EthereumAlarmClock on MainNet

  • All right! After finalization, the EthereumAlarmClock (courtesy of Team ChronoLogic) is now usable on the mainnet.

User Experience

  • On networks where the "equivalent values" panel doesn't make sense, it is no longer shown.
  • On the SendTransaction tab, the gas price slider now has notches for the recommended values.

Nodes and Networks

  • RSK and RSK TestNet gas prices were adjusted.
  • Ledger support added for ESN.

1.2.0 is a stable point release for MyCrypto Web and is the first stable release of MyCrypto Desktop!

This release deprecates support for entering secrets (private keys, mnemonic phrases, and keystore files) directly on MyCrypto.com. If you wish to use those formats, MyCrypto Desktop will continue to support them!
