jOAI is a Java web application that implements the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), version 2.0, and includes a data provider and harvester.

jOAI was developed by Digital Learning Sciences (DLS) at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) to support the Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE) and is maintained as an open source project used by a number of organizations. Support was provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF) as part of the DLESE Program and other grants.
