Skosmos is developed using an agile process, which means that plans for future releases are not set in stone but instead updated as the user needs and requirements evolve. Since January 2020, development happens in sprints that last for the first week of each month. Each sprint has a set of goals and a backlog of issues that the sprint tries to resolve. If the sprint is succesful, the result is released as a Skosmos release.

This page lists a number of high level goals. Actual development items are represented as GitHub issues and their development is planned and tracked through sprint-specific GitHub Project boards.
